Will Probate, SC, York, Maddox Dyson 1814 - 1816 I MADDOX DYSON of South Carolina & York district do make this to be my last will & testament in the manner & form following viz. MY WILL & desire is that my beloved wife ELIZEBETH DYSON & my three children I have by her shall have all my real & personal estate & that it be equally divided among them all but the land to be sold at her death & the money to be equally divided among the aforesaid children. MY WILL & desire is that my four children that I had by a former wife shall have no part of what I leave behind. MY WILL & desire is that if my wife should marry again that my land shall be sold & the money to be for the three aforesaid children & that my wife to have no part of it.
