To the Honorable David Johnson, Judge of probate for 
Union County:

The petition of Starks W Porter respectfully shows to the court:

1) That Nancy Gregory, late of Union District (now Union County) 
died intestate, leaving her surviving as her sole heirs and 
distributees her children;

Solomon Gregory, James B. Gregory, Jeremiah Gregory,Jarret Gregory
Thomas Gregory, Margaret Gregory, Sarah French

and her grandchildren;

Isaac Gregory, Cornelia F Gregory, Jane Gregory, William Thomas Gregory,
Julia A Hodges, William Gregory, Edward Gregory, JoAnna Gregory,
Dock Gregory, Jarret Gregory, Franklin Gregory, Simpson Gregory
Campbell Gregory, Margaret Millwind, Polly Gregory, Nancy Gregory,
Ellen Gregory

2) That she left a small personal estate valued at about $50 and 
no administration of said estate has been appointed.

Wherefore your pettioner asks that letters of administration upon 
said estate be granted to him.
