I, JAMES MARTIN of York	County,	SC am firmly bound to JAMES GORDON,
of Pendleton County, for 300  pounds sterling, date 18-Sep-1786, 
and will make good and sufficient title to 550 acres on the 
Great Generostee Creek where JOHN TIPPEN now lives, joining on 
South by JAMES MARTIN, on the North by Luskey, part of a tract	
granted	to JOHN BUCK, 16-Jul-1784, note due on 01-Dec-1792.

Witness: JAMES BRIANT, JON TIPPEN; JAMES BRIANT made oath to 
JOHN BARTON, JP, 21-Nov-1795. (JAMES BRIANT of the state of 
Georgia).  I, JAMES JORDAN do assign within contents to JOHN TIPPEN, 
in the	presents of CHARLES TRAVIS, JAMES LONG. 01-Jul-1793. 
JAMES LONG made oath to J B EARLE, JP, that he saw JAMES JORDAN
sign above endorsement to JOHN TIPPEN, 07-May-1796.
